Alida Rose Delaney


Alida Rose Delaney (Ensemble, u/s Lauren) is an actor, dancer, and designer from Brooklyn. A longtime supporter and creator of independent theater, she made her stage debut in The Fall at the 2016 NY Fringe Festival. Other recent performances include: Beth Morrison Projects opera, Naga (Michael Counts) in Boston, as well as The Clockwork Boy (Emily Garrison) as part of the NY Thespis Festival. Alida made her film debut in 2016’s In A Sentimental Mood and has appeared in Cinemax’s The Knick and HBO’s Vinyl. She is most recognized for her performance in The Knock’s Sims-inspired music video, Classic. Alida has more than twenty years experience dancing and training with some of the world’s most elite companies and schools, including American Ballet Theater, Boston Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet NY. In addition to performing, Alida most recently designed a new public park as part of the New York State Pavilion New Ideas Competition, for which she was named Queens borough winner. Her photography and design has been featured at the Queens Museum, the Hewitt Gallery of Art, and the George Billis Gallery in New York. She received her BFA degree from Marymount Manhattan College.
